I was born (1998) and raised on Vancouver Island, in the Fernwood neighbourhood of Victoria (Lək̓ʷəŋən territory), with wide ocean, rolling pebbles, and breathing forests surrounding me. Home for me is also found in Cusco Peru, Ottawa ON, and Nelson BC. My ancestral lines include Irish from my mother and Peruvian from my father. Within those there are longwinded diasporic histories and steadfast culture-keeping peoples.

Through extensive formal and informal art practice I have become well oriented in various mediums, and often combine them in my work (painting, drawing, music, dance, film). While much of my learning has been in solitary practice, I have had significant mentorship and am grateful for the generous guidance from teachers along the way.

Matters of the body, spirit, space, natural law, and relational experience are recurring in my work. I am also interested in creating art with mindfulness around materials.

My undergraduate education in Global and International Studies specialising in Anthropology (Carleton University) and post-graduate degree in Art Therapy (Kutenai Art Therapy Institute) show up in my art through way of being in the world. I care deeply about global narratives, cultural experience, myth and symbol, ritual and ceremony, and the healing significance of art making.
